MAX Education is an education startup focused on international-curriculum tutoring and academic guardian services with the aim to help more Vietnamese K-12 students ready for their studying abroad and learning success.
MAX Education provides 1-on-1 to group tutoring (in various subjects including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Social Sciences, etc.), 21st learning skills (such as debating skills, research skills, self-study skills, writing & reading skills, etc.), academic counseling, test preparation, and academic guardian services to parents and students in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job description
1. Customer Relationship Management & Business Development (80%)
Client Consultancy: Provide expert guidance on course selection and education planning, serving as a trusted advisor to clients (training will be provided).
Customer Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of 50+ customers, including alumni, existing, and prospective clients, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Business Development:
- Identify and engage with corporate and organizational clients to explore partnership opportunities.
- Acquire new clients through marketing campaigns, personal networking, and referrals.
Client Engagement & Communication:
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers across multiple channels (in-person, phone, email, online platforms).
- Strengthen long-term relationships by ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets
- Support the achievement of company sales targets by proactively driving customer engagement and closing deals.
2. Team Coordination & Leadership (10%)
Coaching & Training: Jointly mentoring junior team members in customer service, sales techniques, and relationship management.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to improve customer engagement strategies.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Track sales progress, revenue, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Provide reports and insights to management on market trends and customer feedback.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize sales processes and enhance customer interactions.
3. Marketing & Event Support (10%)
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing strategies.
Support promotional campaigns and engagement activities targeting students, parents, and corporate clients.
Job requirements
Able to develop positive rapport with students and parents.
2+ years of experience in customer relations, sales, or business development (experience in education/training services is a plus).
Proven track record of client relationship management and sales achievement.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with different stakeholders.
Self-motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Comfortable working with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
Team leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
A strong plus for candidates with experience/knowledge of the US & UK education system.
