Job description

      To ensure Tutors prepare lesson plans approved by you and follow the syllabus at all times in order to ensure the delivery of high-quality lessons that will develop students.

      To ensure teachers execute all lessons in an inclusive, motivational, and inspirational way, promoting good conduct at all times, in order to create a positive learning environment.

      To organise, manage and deliver Placement Tests for all new students in order to ensure they are placed in the correct class enabling them to be sufficiently challenged and make good progress.

      To assign teachers and undertake all associated administrative tasks in order to ensure smooth and fully effective academic programs.

      To make sure that weekly progress checks are undertaken by every teacher to confirm and provide evidence that students are studying at the correct level and on the right track.

      To organise, manage and store all paperwork related to the academic program such as lesson plans, and teaching records in order to provide evidence of quality teaching, inform Parents of students’ achievements and progress.

      To ensure Tutors write inspiring, personalised and error-free end-of-course/ monthly Reports that clearly detail students’ strengths, levels of participation and areas for further improvement in order to communicate positive, realistic, helpful and meaningful information to students’ parents.

      To lead and manage a team of Tutors competently, confidently and professionally, monitoring their performance by carrying out lesson observations (at least once a week) and providing support and guidance when necessary in order to build and maintain a team of professional, competent, happy and fully effective tutors. Contribute to the professional development and training of all Tutors and carry out formal staff reviews and appraisals. Participate in any staff discipline processes.

      To constantly be mindful of students’ attitude, performance and conduct in order to ensure their physical and emotional well-being and to inform the Board of Directors of any concerns.

      To provide prompt solutions to teachers/customers’ complaints in academic related issues

      To have plan for need of teachers and advise Board of Directors in recruiting new teachers

      To provide monthly academic report to Board of Directors

      To participate in teaching at MAX Education with a limitation of 20 hours of teaching per month

 Job requirements

      High level of English written and verbal communication skills

      Bachelor degree in any discipline, Master's or PhD is a plus

      High priority for candidates with teaching credentials such as (CELTA, TESOL, Praxis, or Vietnamese-government issued certificates)

      Intensive 2+ years experience of teaching with high priority for candidates with managerial experience

      Self-motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility

      Outstanding interpersonal ability to influence and motivate people

      Able to develop positive rapport with students and parents
