MAX Education is an education startup focused on international-curriculum tutoring and academic guardian services with the aim to help more Vietnamese K-12 students ready for their studying abroad and learning success.
MAX Education provides 1-on-1 to group tutoring (in various subjects including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Social Sciences, etc.), 21st learning skills (such as debating skills, research skills, self-study skills, writing & reading skills, etc.), academic counseling, test preparation, and academic guardian services to parents and students in Ho Chi Minh City.

Position: Customer care cum Academic Executive
Job description
Academic Affairs: 70%
Involve in the curriculum development in English
Assist in the quality control process, including tutor’s observation, tutor evaluation, and other evaluation tasks.
Organize, manage and store all academic paperwork for the purpose of tracking tutors’ quality of teaching and students’ progress.
Conduct and/or coordinate academic training on a periodic basis to enhance tutors’ quality of teaching
Participate in any staff discipline processes.
To provide solutions to teachers/customers’ complaints in academic-related issues
To provide monthly academic reports to Board of Directors
Customer Care: 20%
Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face;
- Provide clients consultancy on course selection & education plan;
Handle and resolve customer complaint; respond promptly to customer inquiries;
Manage administration, communication and coordinate with internal department;
Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service progress;
Tutoring & Teaching Responsibilities: 10%
Participate in the teaching team and serve as a tutor in relevant subjects as agreed by you and the academic leadership of MAX
And other tasks assigned by your direct supervisor.
Job requirements
Fluent in English.
Strong research skills and experience in the field of education
Bachelor in Education or Language.
Familiar with fundamental qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Experience in working to deadlines.
Detailed-oriented and having a strong sense of discipline.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft formal correspondence, committee papers, and other written materials.
The ability to respond efficiently to changing operational needs while also dealing effectively with routine tasks.
Previous experience in Academic Management is preferred, but not required.
Experience with various learning platforms such as online flipped classrooms etc…is a plus.
